Ahead of the event, stakeholders and partners met to plan the sensitisation programme and the friendly football and handball matches in Sarambei. The meeting brought together Borotet (the conveners), community leaders and partners Dandelion Africa, Development Pamoja and CDF Rongai Constituency.
On 1 December 2023, Borotet Community Initiative, in partnership with Dandelion Africa, Development Pamoja, CDF Rongai, NACADA and the Government, together with community leaders, held a mentorship and sensitisation programme in Sarambei, Rongai Constituency, Nakuru County. Nine teams took part in friendly football and handball matches.
