Borotet Community Initiative is a non-profit CBO in Mogotio Constituency, Baringo County, serving the community since 2019. We work with religious and local leaders, government agencies, Nyumba Kumi teams, and women and youth leaders on programmes shaped by the needs of the community.

In 2019, Mogotio leaders joined a national campaign against illicit brew and drug abuse. Through community barazas, sixty young people, among them former addicts, school drop-outs and young mothers, were enrolled in TVET institutions.
They completed their courses in 2022 and were celebrated with tools for their trades in December 2023. One of them went back to high school.
