Opening doors to technical training and schooling so young people can build skills and sustainable livelihoods.
OVERVIEW
About the programme
Since 2020, Borotet has mentored and coached young people from Baringo and Nakuru counties and enrolled them in courses at TVET institutions. Parents and guardians are sensitised on the importance of supporting young people throughout their studies.
The first cohort of sixty students trained in various courses within Baringo and completed in 2022. Between 2024 and 2026, over 300 more students have been taken through mentorship, coaching and enrolment. In January 2024, Borotet and partners enrolled and supported two students in secondary school.
