Borotet Community Initiative is a non-profit community based organization, based in Mogotio constituency in Baringo County in Kenya.  The organization works in partnership with other stakeholders to make a difference in the Community through socio economic activities and other capacity building programmes.

The organization works with Religious leaders, local leaders, Government agencies, community spokesmen, nyumba kumi initiative teams, women and youth leaders in various programmes and projects based on needs analysis. 

Borotet Community initiative works towards empowering the community through mentorship progammes which enables capacity building to various groups. Effects of alcohol and drug abuse in the society  has resulted into violence against women and the girl child, as they become victims of rape, domestic violence, abortions, sexually transmitted diseases, HIV,T.B, insecurity and high rates of school drop-outs. Through rehabilitation and recovery programmes alcohol and drug addicts have reformed and a positive change has been realized bringing peaceful coexistence within families and communities at large.
